A 29-year-old Littleton man was killed this morning when he rode his motorcycle through a red light at the C-470 and University Boulevard and hit a Toyota Prius, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Randy Engle died at the scene, according to the Douglas County Coroner’s office. He was thrown from the bike and was not wearing helmet, troopers said.

The accident happened about 9:30 a.m. The driver of the Prius, John Watts, 51, of Centennial was not injured, according to the highway patrol.
