Police are searching for a 34-year-old man who has been missing since Sunday, when he dropped off DVDs at the Boulder Public Library on his way home, authorities say.
James “Jim” McPhee was driving a black 1998 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Colorado plates 523NZX. The vehicle also is missing, said Sarah Huntley, Boulder police spokeswoman.
He was reported missing by his wife after he left his mother-in-law’s Boulder home at 4 p.m. Sunday but never arrived home, Huntley said.
McPhee told his wife he was going to stop off at the library at 1000 Canyon Blvd. to drop off the DVDs. Investigators confirmed the DVDs were returned to the library.
The Boulder Valley School District bus driver did not show up for work Monday morning, Huntley said.
His family said he did not have any plans to travel and that they are concerned about his welfare. At this point, no suspicious circumstances have been found.
McPhee is white, about 160 pounds and 5-foot-8 with green eyes and short, brown hair. He has a beard that is reddish in color and speaks with a British accent.
