The power structure of the Colorado Rockies is something to be marveled. Clint Hurdle is maybe one season away from being fired, yet he’s entrusted with deciding on which coaches to fire or retain.
I guess someone has to take the blame for the Rockies’ demise this season. For right now, Hurdle and Dan O’Dowd are pulling the strings. Each needs to remember former President Truman’s statement that “the buck stops here.”
A fresh coat of paint isn’t going to hide what’s wrong with the team.
