LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says he doesn’t plan to bring true freshmen Will Compton and Sean Fisher out of their redshirts to shore up an injury-plagued linebacker corps.
Pelini says the injured Cody Glenn and Phillip Dillard are day-to-day. Glenn and Dillard missed the Texas Tech game, Glenn with a foot injury and Dillard with a knee problem.
Pelini said Monday it’s not in the best interest of Compton and Fisher to activate them in the middle of the season.
