Want to give back to the snowsport you love? Winter Park is seeking volunteers to instruct or guide visually impaired adults and children through the National Sports Center for the Disabled.
“It sounds like a cliche, but you really do get more out of it than you put in,” said Art Jen- sen, a volunteer the past seven winters. “You develop relationships with students, develop friendships and build trust, which leads to their increased confidence and then enthusiasm. It’s a lot of fun.”
