SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The driver of a casino-bound bus that crashed last week, killing nine people, was not driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to toxicology reports. But Quintin J. Watts, 52, was booked Tuesday into state custody on a parole violation.
Watts told his family he went into a diabetic coma. The California Highway Patrol said the crash probe could take months.
