BOULDER — Boulder County investigators Tuesday released a composite sketch of a man sought in the attempted kidnapping of a third-grader Monday.
The girl was walking home from Heatherwood Elementary School near Boulder about 3:15 p.m. Monday when the man, described as being in his late teens or early 20s, tried to wrestle her into his newer-model, silver two-door hatchback, possibly a Toyota, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said.
The girl fought until she got free and ran home.
The man is described as white and between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with a thin build. He also is described as having a dark tan complexion and had short light-brown hair that was longer and curly in the back.
Anyone with any information can call Detective Ali Thompson at 303-441-3643.
