An employee of a Denver topless bar is being held for investigation of reckless manslaughter in the death of Native American tribal leader Gabriel Pico.
Sonny Jackson, spokesman for the Denver Police Department, said Friday that Gabriel Coe, 39, turned himself in Thursday and was arrested.
Investigators are expected to turn the case over to the Denver district attorney’s office this week for the filing of charges, Jackson said.
The Denver coroner’s office ruled last week that the death of the 41-year-old Pico, of Temecula, Calif., was a homicide.
