Griffin proving pick-proof

Griffin was 15-of-27 for 162 yards in the Bears’ 34-6 loss at Oklahoma State, extending his streak of passes without an interception to start a career to 155. Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy set the former record of 138 during his freshman season in 1986. Gundy now is in his fourth season as the Cowboys’ coach.

791 Total yards for Tulsa in a 77-35 blowout of Texas-El Paso. Brennan Marrion had six catches for 233 yards and three touchdowns, setting a Conference USA record for yards per catch in a game (38.8), as Tulsa (7-0, 4-0 CUSA) strengthened its case to move into the national rankings. The Golden Hurricane hovered just outside the Associated Press poll this week. Tulsa also had 321 yards rushing.
