AURORA, Colo.—Sasha Fong hit a three-run homer to help lead Erie to a 6-0 victory over Holy Family in the 3A softball championship game.
Mariah Bledsoe struck out five and allowed just three hits, two of them singles, for Erie, which also won the 3A title last year. She stranded seven players on base at Aurora Sports Park.
Holy Family shortstop Rachel Wild had two hits, including a two-out triple in the fourth inning.
Amy Christopher gave up three earned runs and struck out two batters in the fourth straight title game between the two schools.
