Getting your player ready...

You need help. It’s OK to admit it.

With three bye weeks remaining and the stretch run to stock up for, where are some potential gems or single-serving stars that might help? Roll up your sleeves and let’s find an ace.

Mewelde Moore’s cover was just blown with his big day Sunday for the Steelers, but he remains available in most leagues and could be good for the rest of the season with Willie Parker’s injury history. Ditto for the Eagles’ Correll Buckhalter and the Colts’ Dominic Rhodes.

Another popular running back fix is the Broncos’ Ryan Torain, who won’t see much action until Week 9. The potential upside — Denver’s vaunted running attack and a string of favorable matchups starting in Week 10 against Cleveland, Atlanta, Oakland, the Jets and Kansas City — makes him worth stashing now.

At receiver, Greg Camarillo (Dolphins) has quietly been getting a lot of catches, Donnie Avery (Rams) is also emerging, and Kevin Walter (Texans) gets a lot of looks. Josh Morgan (49ers) had the best day of his career Sunday and could be worth monitoring.

Need some quarterback depth? Kyle Orton, Matt Ryan, Chad Pennington and Gus Frerotte are gambles worth making if you’re desperate or need a solid backup.

How about a trade? Buy low: Terrell Owens, LaDainian Tomlinson, Brian Westbrook and Joseph Addai. Sell high: Steven Jackson, LenDale White, Jason Campbell, Earnest Graham and Calvin Johnson.
