BOULDER — Colorado coach Dan Hawkins said Sunday that quarterbacks Cody Hawkins and Tyler Hansen will play Saturday on the road against No. 16 Missouri, but Hawkins declined to name a starter.
“Those guys are good with whatever it takes to win,” Dan Hawkins said. “We’re going to play whoever it takes to win.”
Hansen discarded his redshirt with 2:01 remaining in the first quarter of last Saturday’s 14-13 victory over Kansas State. Hansen finished 7-of-14 passing for 71 yards, with one touchdown and an interception. He also rushed 19 times for 86 yards.
“That gave me a big-time confidence boost,” Hansen said Sunday.
