AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS — Banking and insurance company ING Groep NV says it will receive a capital injection from the Netherlands’ central bank.
ING executives have been meeting with Dutch financial authorities throughout the weekend after the company warned Friday it expects to post a 500 million euro ($670 million) loss for the third quarter.
The company said today the Netherlands’ finance minister, central bank president and ING’s chief executive would release details of the agreement at a news conference later in the evening.
