ADAMS COUNTY — Police were looking for a driver who rear-ended a deputy’s patrol car Tuesday night.

The deputy was not injured, according to Sgt. Rick Benson of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Benson said the deputy was at a stoplight on Federal Boulevard and West 60th Avenue at 8:09 p.m. when he was struck by a maroon Chevy Blazer with Colorado license plates 502-PEO.

The suspect fled on Interstate 76, but police stopped their pursuit when he reached Interstate 25, Benson said.
