Mopar, longtime sponsor of NHRA Drag Racing, has renewed its multiyear entitlement agreement through 2011 with the Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, according to .

The 30th annual race, which represents the traditional launching point for the three-races-in- three-weeks Western swing through Denver, Seattle and Sonoma, Calif., will be held July 10-12 in 2009.

“This ensures that one of the longest continuous title-rights sponsorships in motorsports will continue on, and it speaks volumes to the value proposition in the NHRA Drag Racing Series,” said Gary Darcy, NHRA senior vice president- sales and marketing.

This will mark the 21st consecutive year Mopar has been the title sponsor of the Mile-High NHRA Nationals.

The race will be the 13th in the 18-race Countdown to 10 regular season, marking the start of the stretch run as the drivers jockey for the final playoff positions.

“Relationships, trust and results are the key ingredients to the longevity of Mopar’s partnership with NHRA and Bandimere Speedway,” said John C. Bandimere Jr., president of Bandimere Speedway. “We are proud to work alongside such an innovative team as they have at Mopar and to continue to have their brand and what it stands for as the title sponsor of our event.”
