Agility drills, coordination exercises and balance-strengthening moves are among the elements of Kids Fitness Zone, a new class offered by South Suburban Parks and Recreation at Buck Recreation Center, 2004 W. Powers Ave., Littleton. Geared to children ages 6-12, the class runs Saturdays, 2:30-3:25 p.m. and Wednesdays 4:30-5:25 p.m. The drop-in fee is $4 per session for those in the district, $5.25 for nonresidents. Big wheels
Handmade bicycles, the industry’s top frame builders and makers of components and accessories will show and sell at the first annual Rocky Mountain Bicycle Show from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University of Colorado, 1669 Euclid Ave., Boulder. Among the brands to be featured are such Rocky Mountain region companies as Moots, Anvil and Paketa. Tickets are $5 at the door; children under 12 get in free. A portion of ticket proceeds benefits the University of Colorado Cycling Team. More at
