Getting your player ready...

The Broncos didn’t play Sunday. And come to think of it, neither did the other three teams in the AFC West.

You saw it. Three games and three losses. You expect the Raiders and Chiefs to lose. And maybe we’re getting to the point where we expect the Chargers to lose, too.

All three came up short Sunday, dropping the AFC West’s combined record to 10-19, tying the division with the NFC West for the worst division in the league.

So who’s going to win the Little Division That Couldn’t? I’m not sure at this point. But somebody has to represent the AFC Waste in the playoffs, and it could be the Broncos.

This much we can be sure of: The Chargers aren’t the Chargers anymore. If the Raiders and Chiefs are rebuilding, San Diego is at the very least regrouping.

The Broncos? They spent the weekend sitting back and enjoying the view, knowing full well that, if they could just win a few games here and there, the division is out there waiting to be won.

Like I said. If they could just win a few games here and there.
