DENVER—Haven’t decided whether Colorado should be the first state to define when life begins?
Both sides on a constitutional amendment saying that life begins at conception want to reach you before Election Day.
Supporters of the so-called “personhood amendment” are hitting Colorado highways this week for “honk and wave” promotions asking for support of Amendment 48. The sign wavers plan to stand by Denver-area overpasses Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and Colorado Springs Thursday morning.
Opponents have stepped up their campaign plans, too. A group opposed to the amendment plans three rallies Tuesday, in Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins.
