PARACHUTE, Colo.—Running for the U.S. Senate must work up quite an appetite. Colorado’s candidates are in an all-out sprint for votes a week before Election Day.

At least they won’t be hungry.

Republican Bob Schaffer starts his day Tuesday talking to employees at a natural gas company in Parachute. He’ll canvass the Western Slope, with stops planned in Grand Junction, Delta, Montrose and Meeker. His tour includes a “Pizza With Bob” stop in Montrose.

Democrat Mark Udall has even more food stops on his calendar. He’ll be hitting Front Range cities Tuesday starting with a breakfast meet-and-greet in Denver. On Wednesday Udall stops by a bakery in Littleton and then heads back to Denver for lunch at a Mexican restaurant with supporters.

Schaffer and Udall are seeking to replace retiring Republican Sen. Wayne Allard.
