Colorado Division of Wildlife officers are seeking leads on a poaching crime involving the shooting of two mule deer on the Comanche National Grassland south of Rocky Ford. The deer were shot and left on the weekend of Oct. 18-19. Information about the incident should be sent to officer Jim Schreinvogel at 719-940-3587 or Operation Game Thief, 1-877-265- 6648. A reward of $1,000 is available through the OGT program.
Public meets commish.
The Colorado Wildlife Commission’s Tim Glenn will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Colorado Division of Wildlife’s Colorado Springs office, 4255 Sinton Road. Glenn will discuss wildlife matters of a local and statewide nature.
