OAKLAND, Calif.—Police in California say two men who were arrested after leading authorities on a chase are connected to at least 10 recent burglaries in the Oakland hills.

Twenty-four-year-old Chas Langley of Marin City and 31-year-old Kevin Simmons of Denver were taken into custody Monday after police say they rammed a squad car during a police pursuit.

Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason says a gun and some stolen property were recovered from the car, which authorities say was stolen.

Thomason says investigators are looking into whether the men are connected to additional burglaries in the Oakland hills as well as burglaries in Berkeley and Sausalito.
