CHEYENNE — Just days after announcing healthy profits, Arch Coal said it was trimming operations at its Black Thunder mine in the Powder River Basin of northeast Wyoming. Arch Coal is idling one of its five draglines and one of its 13 shovels at the Black Thunder mine.
