Holiday star power

Through Dec. 5, Smith & Hawken is holding an online auction of Christmas trees designed by actresses Julianne Moore, Brooke Shields, Angie Harmon and celebrity couple Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker to benefit the conservation organization Keep America Beautiful (kab.org). Celebrity stylist Robert Verdi worked closely with each entertainer to come up with individual designs using Smith & Hawken ornaments, garlands, lights and garden gear. To participate in the auction, bidders log on to , pick their favorite tree and then click on the “bid now” button. Winners will receive their trees in time for the holidays.
