• Because of a reporting error, the town of Tigard, Ore., was misspelled in an Oct. 21 obituary on Page 6B. Also, the children who visited Denver were from Yelsk, Belarus. They had been affected by the Chernobyl nuclear accident.
• Because of a reporter’s error, a student quoted in a story Friday on Page 5B about a George Washington High School classmate killed in an accident was misidentified. The speaker was Zoe Faselt, not Lizzy Nicholson.
