Falling fuel costs weren’t enough to stop Frontier Airlines’ financial bleeding in September as reduced revenue and bankruptcy expenses hit the company with a $20.8 million loss.
Most of Frontier’s expenses fell in September, compared with August, led by fuel, but a 24 percent decline in revenue pushed Frontier deeply into the red. Frontier’s operating loss was $10.3 million.
Interest on debt, restructuring charges and a tax expense combined to bring the net loss to $20.8 million.
