A circle of prominent women, including activist Gloria Steinem and former Ambassador Swanee Hunt, will host two gatherings to encourage unaffiliated women to vote this election.
They hope to reach some 10,000 of “the least likely to vote” women in Colorado through a networking process involving many locally prominent women. They include former First Lady Dottie Lamm, City of Denver honcho Katherine Archuleta, philanthropist Judy Wagner and others.
The first gathering will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Friday at the clamshell or sculptured house on I-70 in Gennessee. The public is invited to the free event but space is limited. Attendees are asked to call (720) 840-1638.
The second event will be held at the Colorado Historical Museum, E. 13th Ave. between Broadway and Lincoln Street, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday.
