A circle of prominent women, including activist Gloria Steinem and former Ambassador Swanee Hunt, will host two gatherings to encourage unaffiliated women to vote.

They hope to reach some 10,000 of “the least likely to vote” women in Colorado through a networking process involving such prominent women as former first lady Dottie Lamm, Denver honcho Katherine Archuleta and philanthropist Judi Wagner.

The first gathering will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. today at the Sculptured House on Interstate 70 in Genesee. The public is invited to the free event, but space is limited. Those interested in attending are asked to call 720-840-1638.

The second event will be at the Colorado History Museum, 1300 Broadway, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
