Willie Clark, a suspect in the murder of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams, made a brief appearance in Denver District Court on Thursday morning.
Clark, 25, was scheduled to be arraigned on first-degree murder charges, but the hearing was postponed until Dec. 19.
His defense lawyers say they could not enter a plea or argue for bond Thursday because they had not yet received discovery from the district attorney’s office.
Clark did not speak during the two-minute appearance.
He is charged with opening fire on a limousine carrying Williams, 15 others and a driver on Jan. 1, 2007. Two others in the vehicle were wounded.
