THE NUMBERS: Barack Obama 52 percent, John McCain 43 percent.
OF INTEREST: This 9-point advantage for Obama matches two polls taken earlier this month. Telephone polls conducted for Quinnipiac University and The Associated Press also showed Obama leading McCain by 9 percentage points. This poll also indicated voters have made up their minds. Just 1 percent of supporters for either candidate said they might change their minds before Election Day.
DETAILS: Conducted Oct. 27-28 by telephone, included 772 registered voters. Sampling margin of error plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
