GOP Presidential hopeful John McCain will spend part of Election Day in Grand Junction, according to his campaign.
McCain will be at WestStar Aviation, Hangar #2858, for an 11:45 a.m. program. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. A ticket is not required.
McCain’s appearance will follow that of his vice presidential pick, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who will rally today at the Colorado Springs airport with country singer Hank Williams Jr.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and the event starts at 5:15 p.m.
