GREELEY, Colo.—Prosecutors have filed a first-degree murder solicitation charge against a 21-year-old woman who police say wanted to hire a hit man to kill her boyfriend’s disapproving mother.
Alana Noke also faces a charge of solicitation of first-degree burglary. She is scheduled in court Nov. 17 and was being held without bond Wednesday in Weld County. It was unclear whether she had hired an attorney and she had no listed number.
Police say an undercover police officer posed as the killer-for-hire after one of her friends alerted authorities.
Police say Noke wanted her boyfriend’s mother dead and his father beaten up, not killed. Her boyfriend’s parents live in Nebraska.
