A tough economy could help Colorado fifth- and sixth-graders this year.
Traditionally, Vail Resorts Inc. has offered Colorado fifth-graders three free days of skiing or snowboarding at each of its four Colorado resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone.
Vail expanded the deal to include sixth-graders this year and added an extra day at each resort.
