The 20-pound, 5-ounce catfish that Brad Newton tempted with cut bait Oct. 23 at Pueblo Reservoir ranks as the largest the Aurora resident ever caught. But what he most wanted to talk about was the one that got away.
“I lost one that straightened the hook,” Newton said of the memory that will take him back to the same impoundment next season, looking for the really big one.
