A 33-year-old Longmont man was seriously injured in a highway accident when he stopped to check on possible injuries in another accident.
Ruben Reyes was taken to Denver Health after being hit at about 9:25 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 25, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Reyes was checking on the driver of a green 2003 Saturn when it was struck by a white 2003 Saturn, said Trooper Ryan Sullivan, a State Patrol spokesman.
