LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska nose tackle Ndamukong (en-DOM-ah-ken) Suh (Soo) has been named the Big 12’s defensive player of the week.

The junior from Portland, Ore., made a career-high 12 tackles in a 45-35 win over Kansas, the most stops by a Nebraska defensive lineman since 2005. He also had a career-best 2.5 sacks and totaled four tackles behind the line of scrimmage for 19 yards in losses.

Suh also played fullback in goal-line situations and caught a 2-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

Suh leads Nebraska with 60 tackles, with his average of six a game leading all Big 12 defensive linemen.
