The NFL on Tuesday named Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler the AFC offensive player of the week.
It was the first such award in Cutler’s three-year career. He was also tabbed the AFC offensive player of the month in September.
Cutler’s 447 passing yards in a 34-30 victory over Cleveland last week was the third-highest single-game mark in franchise history.
His 2,616 passing yards this seasons ranks first in the AFC and third in the NFL.
