EPILEPSY FOUNDATION OF COLORADO: Elected Kathy Ashenfelter, chief financial officer of Swedish Medical Center, as board president. Additionally, Steve Franzen, vice president of product management at TekSystems; Anne Speer, senior vice president and district manager at Wells Fargo; and Tracy Bray, a hospital specialist with UCB, were named to the board of directors.

NETQUOTE INC.: Named Paul Ford chief executive. Ford has served as president for the past year and a half and replaces Gregg Coccari, who will take over as chairman of the board.

AMERICAN THYROID ASSOCIATION: Awarded Dr. E. Chester Ridgway of the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine the 2008 John B. Stanbury Thyroid Pathophysiology Medal. Ridgway, a senior associate dean and professor at the medical school, is an endocrinologist.

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER SCHOOL OF MEDICINE: Announced that Dr. Marshall Thom as, director of the medical school’s new Depression Center, and Dr. Frank deGruy, chair of the Department of Family Medicine, will serve on the board of directors of the National Network of Depression Centers.

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO: Bill Moore of the Kentwood Companies was honored with the Leeds Real Estate Service Award for exceptional service to the CU Real Estate Center.
