Five Rapids players were called to the U.S. men’s national team training camp in anticipation of a World Cup qualifier next week against Guatemala, U.S. coach Bob Bradley said Tuesday.
National team mainstay Pablo Mastroeni, a Rapids defender, will be joined by teammates Cory Gibbs and Conor Casey, both players with U.S. team experience; and new call-ups Nick LaBrocca and Colin Clark.

The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League re-signed veteran defensemen Rich Catton and Bruce Murray to one-year contracts, the team said.
