LINCOLN, Neb.—With Nebraska’s depth depleted at linebacker, coach Bo Pelini says sophomore Latravis Washington might make it into the lineup.

Pelini says Washington had a good week and is ready to play. Linebacker Cody Glenn was suspended this week, and Phillip Dillard missed the past two games with an ankle injury.

Wet turf didn’t keep the Cornhuskers off the practice field. The team held a two-hour workout Thursday in the rain-soaked Memorial Stadium.

Pelini says offensive lineman Lydon Murtha likely won’t play because of injury Saturday, when the Huskers take on Kansas State Saturday. Murtha has a sprained left foot.
