For the record: TCU was idle this weekend and takes a 9-2 record overall and a 6-1 mark in the Mountain West Conference into Saturday’s regular-season finale.

Streaking: With a victory Saturday, the Horned Frogs would have a 10-win season for the third time in four years and coach Gary Patterson a fifth 10-win season in seven years.

Who’s hot: The senior class has 39 victories to show for four years. A victory over Air Force would tie the school record at 40 for the most triumphs in a four-year span.

Who’s not: The turnover charts in the two losses. The Horned Frogs have seven turnovers in their nine victories and six turnovers in their two losses.

Key stat: The matchup will be TCU’s top ranking in the nation in rushing defense at 39.5 yards a game and Air Force’s rushing offense that ranks fourth in the nation at 279.7 yards a game.

FYI: TCU junior defensive end Jerry Hughes leads the nation in sacks with 14 and is tied for seventh in tackles for losses at 17 1/2.

Injuries: None.

Coachspeak: “TCU is a top-15 team. They have been completely dominant in all nine of their victories. They were overwhelming in terms of what happened on the field.” — Air Force coach Troy Calhoun’s appraisal of TCU.
