The 36 Hours of Keystone may have expired, but Summit County’s only night skiing resort isn’t about to let the party die just yet.

Keystone is kicking off the first of three Friday Night Lights events celebrating the start of ski season and the newly realigned River Run Gondola this weekend.

Festivities get underway with a KSMT radio pre-party at River Run at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by a DJ, prize giveaways and a free concert alongside the gondola with East Coast rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at 8 p.m. Parking is free in the Montezuma Lot, and skiing lasts until 8:30 p.m. Discounted lodging packages include Friday night lift tickets through Dec. 5.
