FORT CARSON, Colo.—Brig. Gen. Allen W. Batschelet has been named deputy commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
Batschelet has been serving as chief of staff for the 4th Infantry.
The military says Brig. Gen. Robin P. Swan, who has been the 4th Infantry’s deputy commanding general for support, has been named director of strategy, plans and policy for the Army’s deputy chief of staff in Washington.
The assignments were announced Monday.
