Unusually clear and warm weather for November puts the metro area in a position to tie a long-standing record high tomorrow.

Today’s temperatures will skirt 70 degrees, under sunny skies. Tonight’s low of 38 also will be unseasonably warm.

The National Weather Service says we could hit 74 degrees on Tuesday. That would match the record for Nov. 18, set in 1995.

Wednesday is forecast to be slightly mellower, with 66 degrees in the forecast.

By Thursday, the mild weather will cool a bit, with highs in the 50s. But still, no measurable precipitation is in the forecast.

The National Weather Service says November is usually our second-snowiest month, after March.
