PUEBLO — Pueblo businesses are organizing a Nov. 30 benefit for those affected by a downtown explosion that leveled two businesses and closed others at C Street and South Union Avenue last week.
Investigators are still looking for the cause of Thursday’s blast, which killed a boutique worker, Ashley Johnson, 22, and injured several other people. Three remained hospitalized Tuesday.
Zippers nightclub, 326 S. Union Ave., is putting together a poker run and a burrito fundraiser. Silent and live auctions and live music are planned too.
