With a little over two minutes to play Tuesday night against visiting UT-Martin, the Tenneessee basketball crowd began chanting “chicken sandwich!” — the yells turning desperate as the final seconds ticked down. “Shoot it!” Guard Bobby Maze didn’t make the connection. “I asked somebody on the bench why (the fans) kept saying, ‘Shoot it.’ ” His teammates understood. Cameron Tatum, right, dunked to push the Vols past the magical 90-point mark, guaranteeing anyone with a ticket stub a free chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A. “They were as happy as if we won the SEC championship,” center Brian Williams said.
