Two 19-year-olds suspected in a summer crime spree, including shooting at a pursuing sheriff’s deputy, are under costly bonds in the Douglas County jail.

A Douglas County judge set bond today for Brandon Kreuzer of Sedalia at $3 million, and a $2 million bond for Taylor Moudy for Castle Rock in their first court appearance.

Their next court hearing is Monday in Castle Rock, when they will be formally charged.

The pair is suspected in a June 28 chase by Douglas County deputies. Before they ditched a stolen car and escaped on foot, they shot out a back window and fired at a deputy, who was wounded in the arm.

They also are suspects in a June 11 armed robbery at a Circle K convenience store in Castle Rock as well as other burglaries and auto thefts in the area dating back to May.
