WELD COUNTY — A 40-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 12-year- old Evans girl in a motel in Weld County.
Authorities said Alfredo Adino-Ramos is being held for investigation of kidnapping and assault.
Weld County sheriff’s deputies and Evans police found the girl at the Red Coach Inn.
She had been missing since Friday, when she started text-messaging her mother. Police said they were still trying to determine what happened, but they believe the girl was enticed to get into a car at Fourth Street and 11th Avenue in Greeley either Friday or Saturday.
