DOUGLAS COUNTY — Two 19-year-olds have been arrested as suspects in a Castle Rock burglary and the shooting of a deputy who was chasing the bandits.
A Douglas County judge set $3 million bail Wednesday for Brandon Kreuzerof Sedalia and $2 million bail for Moudy of Castle Rock.
Their next court hearing is Monday in Castle Rock, when they will be formally charged.
The bandits crashed a stolen car into a ditch and fled on foot after the June 28 burglary and shooting.
A deputy was shot in the arm during the chase but not seriously injured.
