Three young men from El Paso County were arrested today on charges of robbing and vandalizing a Colorado Springs church last month.
Jesse Gray and Nicholas Williams, both 18, and Gareth Landry, 20, face burglary, criminal mischief and felony theft charges, officials said.
The trio is accused of breaking out a window, robbing a safe and destroying doors and cabinets inside Hilltop Baptist Church, causing the church an estimated loss of $24,000, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Stolen property from the church turned up at a pawn show, which led investigators to the three men, according to the sheriff’s office.All three posted bond.
