BRIGHTON — A 28-year-old man has been arrested for suspicion of murder in the death of his girlfriend, whose body was discovered last week in a Brighton home.
Denver police arrested Nicky Allen Martinez of Brighton at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near Lincoln Street and Speer Boulevard in the investigation of second-degree murder in the death of Tanya Ealey, said John Bradley, Brighton police spokesman.
Ealey, 32, was last seen leaving work Monday at 6:30 p.m., Bradley said.
Her body was discovered in an apartment at 258 S. 12th Ave. in Brighton on Thursday morning, Bradley said.
Martinez is being held in the Adams County Detention Facility.
